I only have one thing that I hate
in this world and that was getting older! People get older year by year and I
just hate it. That’s why for past four years I hide my birthday in facebook. I
didn’t like someone gimme birthday greeting since it reminded me that I am
getting older. Besides I didn’t like someone gimme birthday greeting just they
thought that they had to greet me for my birthday without sincerely wanted to.
So in every year I would spent my birthday with people who really care and
sincerely gimme birthday greeting and surprises. It was what I thought for past
four years.
This year, exactly two days
before my birthday, I decided to open my birthday into public and my intention
for doing that is to try something that I hate most, accepting birthday
greeting from people who know my birthday from facebook and realized that maybe
some of them just send me the birthday greeting just because they have to
without they want to.
In the morning, I woke up because
of the ringing of my phone. I checked and the name of my old friend appeared. She is one of my best friend since
I was in Junior High School and she is one of my friends who always gimme
birthday greeting in my birthday, and she always became the number one who
greet me in my birthday after my mom and dad. Unfortunately after my age now,
there is no man who became the first person to say happy birthday to me and I
am okay. LOL
Nadiah, the name of my friends,
send me a message through SMS and Line. She gave a good effort to make my
birthday, this one was a meme she send to me. (ps. Thank you for giving me
this, Nad although this wasn’t your first time giving me such a greeting).

After Nadiah, honestly I waited
people to write on my wall since I open my birthday into public (it’s funny
since I was waiting), but there was no one, and what surprised me was friends,
new and old, send me short message service and greeted me. Some of them I
didn’t know who since I changed my phone but I could feel their sincerity. Besides,
friends also greeted me through whattsap, Line, and Facebook Messenger. Some of
them send me cute pictures, and I am fuckin' love those all.
But I still curious why there was
no one wrote on my wall and I asked my brother to check my facebook account and
I remember that few months ago when I was abroad I changed my facebook setting
and didn’t allow people to write in my wall. -.-
Because of that I realized that
all this time I was too arrogant related to what I thought about others. And I
do realized that I the one who do not have sincerity to say happy birthday
to my friends. I forgot their birthday, even when facebook reminded me about my
friends’ birthday I kept ignore it and did not care about it.
I do apologize about this
arrogance and I do appreciate everyone who constantly saying happy birthday to
me every year even I didn’t do the same thing to them. I am grateful since now
I know that I am surrounded by people whom care, and love me.

In the night through skype one of my friends asked me what I did in my birthday, and I didn’t know what I should answer since there was no surprise on that day and I was busy with thingy job.
One day after my birthday, I came to Rumah Hebat Indonesia to talk about outing class that will be held this weekend. After I parked my motorcycle, one of Adek RHI approached me and engaged me to go to her house. I didn’t know what’s going on since she didn’t allow me to go to RHI. After 10 minutes, Selo came to her house and told that I should came to RHI now.
He opened the door and RHI was full of adek-adek RHI who surprised me with a bread and three little candles. Chandra, one of Adek RHI, gave me flowers suddenly after I entered the room while others singing happy birthday for me. I couldn’t write what I felt that time. I was too speechless to express my feeling. They really made my birthday, yes they did!
