Memorable as it seems

Last two weeks, I taught my students writing skill and it reminded me the time when I got writing lecture with my superb lecturer. Just want to share what I wrote in the last time.

Here is my writing when I was in the first year of college and I felt this is great when today I couldn't do this again (now all assignments is about academic writing, free writing like this just exist in the beginning of my college life). Missing my lecturer so much in the time like this :-(

Living in a Boarding House or Living at Home?

If you go to a college which is far from your home, living in a boarding house will be more beneficial than living at home. There are many explanations about the beneficial of living in a boarding house.

Firstly, you have more time to study in your boarding house. So, you can always do the best for your examination. If you do the best, you may get good mark in your exam and your parents will be proud of you.

           Secondly, you have more time to take a rest. You do not need to take long distance to campus when you live in the boarding house. Besides of consuming time in the way, living at home will require you to do many things such as helping your parents or take care of your brother or sister and etc. Therefore you only have little time to take a rest. Meanwhile in a boarding house, you can use the extra time to refresh your mind. 
          Thirdly, living in a boarding house makes you more active. You can do something which has a lot of advantages such as joining students’ organizations, studying or even you can use your free time to earn money by yourself.

Fourthly, you can build more discipline for your life.  In a boarding house you do not have a guide life like your mother. Living in a boarding house requires you to be more discipline than living at home. You must wake up early by yourself and manage your time wisely. This is important for you to survive when you live in a boarding house. From this way, you can be more discipline and have a good life in the future.

Fifthly, living in a boarding house can makes you more economical. If you live in the boarding house, you just need to take short distance to your campus but if you live at home you must take a long distance and it will cost you more money.

Lastly, living far from your home will build awareness on the value of money. If you are living in your home, you just ask to your parents for money. But if you are living in a boarding house, it is impossible to get money easily. You have to be responsible about your life so you must use your money carefully.

Based on the paragraphs above, living in the boarding house is more beneficial than living at home. Living in a boarding house will make you have more time to do something good; it will make you more economical and more discipline; and you can build awareness on the value of money.

"Kapan pulang Mi?"

Setiap kali ada pertanyaan kapan pulang aku ngrasa beda. Semacam ada pertentangan batin.

"Gimana aku pulang ketika di setiap tempat aku ngrasa lagi di rumah."

Adalah dimana aku bertanya

tentang hal yang tidak pernah terucap

dan tidak diketahui

dalam sebuah perenungan

tentang gaduh yang terbungkus hening

 

Is this falling in love?

There is a guy whom I like a lot
Two years ago I met him coincidentally
Hearing his thought from a distance makes me feel like I found something
Something that I didn't really care before

He is a guy who has a capability to make me sit for a long time in front of my netbook to read his writings

Yes, I like someone who has a lot of writings.

I like this person
I learned a lot from him.
I feel blessed just caused I know he did well for others

From him, I wanna be a better person

I feel like I and he are connected
Just because when I read his writings, knowing his vision and ambition
That was all my vision and ambition too

He is smart. He has good writing (and am crazy with this kind of person)
And I can say he is perfect

He has a project to make a betterness in this nation

He didn't have time to think about himself
all his work purposes for others

When I heard his voice through phone talking about certain topic
my heart melted

Yesterday I talked to my friend and she said to me
How can you fall in love with someone who makes you constantly awed by him?

Then I just realized that this isn't loving. He is too perfect and I just admire him.

Then I came into conclusion that
In the future, I want to spend the rest of my life with my best friend
a best friend whom I can to be a fool in front of him
I want to be with someone who I can cry and laugh at the same time
someone whose passion love and madness come into one point

Till the day come, am waiting for him
Which him? I don't know yet like you don't know which t-shirt will you wear today. :-)
